Jo Mikesell joined Shunpike as a Client Manager for artists and programs in September of 2021. Bringing over 15 years of extensive arts administration and project management experience, Jo’s work is dedicated to nurturing communities by facilitating meaningful, accessible arts experiences. In 2010, Jo earned a B.A. in Art History from the University of Washington and in 2018 earned an M.A. in Visual Arts Administration from Columbia University, New York. Jo has worked for a variety of businesses ranging from global corporations to grassroot nonprofits; including ACA Galleries, Creative Time, Baryshnikov Arts Center, Barnard College, The Northwest School, Artist Trust, and Amazon.com. In her spare time she is a Chapter Leader for ArtTable, a digital exhibition Curator, member of the Council of Readers for the College Art Association, a fashion fanatic, and a baker of tasty treats.
